Prong Training Collar

Chrome Plated- High Quality Chain- All of our Prong Training Collars are made of interlocking links, each having slightly rounded ends to minimize the chance of injury.  Great training tool for quickly getting the attention of hard to handle dogs. Unlike a 2 ring chain collar, Prong Training Collars put an even pressure around the neck, and are very humane.  No pressure is put directly on the dog's trachea with the Prong Training Collar.  Remember, Prong Training Collars do not slip over your dogs head; you must unsnap one of the links in the middle of the collar to put the collar on, or take the collar off the dog.  Your Prong Training Collar should fit snug to the exact size of your dog's neck, and by adding or subtracting links from a Prong Training Collar will make it Larger or Smaller in size. If a Prong Training Collar is fitted too loose it will not give an effective check when training. This collar is very effective, safe, and is self limiting in that it constricts very little.

Large Prong Training Collars have 9 links, with 2 prongs for each link. If you want Rubber Tips on each prong, you will need to order 18 Rubber Tips for your Large Prong Training Collar.   The Large Prong Collar fits necks up to 20".

 

Small Prong Training Collars have 8 links, with 2 prongs for each link. If you want Rubber Tips on each prong, you will need to order 16 Rubber Tips for your Small Prong Training Collar. The Small Prong Collar fits necks up to 14".

 

Prong Training Collars do not come with the Rubber Tips.
